About Us

Dr. Kamaleshwar Bhat is a young veterinarian and social entrepreneur dedicated to uplifting the veterinary profession and supporting farmers across Nepal and beyond. Born in the Kanchanpur district of the Far-Western Province, Dr. Bhat’s educational journey began at Radient Higher Secondary School, where he graduated in 2010. He then pursued his B.V.Sc & A.H at the Himalayan College of Agriculture and Sciences under Purbanchan University (HICAST).
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Bhat remained deeply interested in livestock and poultry production systems and their economics. After completing his B.V.Sc & A.H, he competed for the IAAS exam for an MSc and was selected for Animal Science, subsequently joining the MSc Animal Nutrition program at the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Tribhuvan University (IAAS).During his MSc, Dr. Bhat continued to engage with livestock farming, assisting farmers in setting up new farms. His interests led him to specialize in goat and poultry farming, accumulating extensive knowledge to support new entrepreneurs in these fields. He gained practical experience as a Technical Officer at the National Agriculture and Research Center in Bhagetada, Doti, where he conducted research on Boar Goats.

Dr. Bhat later served as a technical expert in the Goat and Poultry Value Chain project at Sahara Nepal. His role involved extensive fieldwork in the Koshi Province, where he designed and published numerous articles on goat and poultry management.His responsibilities included shed management, handling field queries, organizing training sessions, conducting field visits, diagnosing and treating diseases, providing technical and scientific information, and conducting trials.
